Plan your transport

Ask the responsible product team to confirm how the unit is prepared for transport. Clearly assign controls, connection material and presentation accessories. If the unit has changed since your first request, update dimensions and weight. If a demonstration is planned on the delivery day itself, state it as a scheduling dependency; we then check which delivery time can realistically be agreed for it.

Batteries, operating fluids and technical notes

If the unit contains lithium batteries, pressure vessels or operating fluids, mention this in your first request – with type, installation state and available manufacturer documents. Such details can matter for planning the transport and should not first come up at collection. The technical classification comes from the manufacturer or your product team; we take it into account in the planning.

From the stand to the next assignment

Demo units often keep travelling: from the show to a showroom, to a customer or back to the factory. State already for the outbound trip where the unit goes afterwards and whether it will be serviced in between. The onward transport can then be planned too, and the unit is not left unplanned at the venue.

What matters

  • Separate transport condition from demo condition
  • Assign accessories and controls to the unit
  • Declare batteries and operating fluids in advance
