Plan your transport

Assign each demo product its containers and accessories. For models updated at short notice, a clear version reference helps. Decide in the project team which goods return after the presentation, travel on or go to a different recipient. Outbound, return and onward trips can then be shown with different quantities in the very first briefing.

Confidentiality at a launch

Before a market launch, the product often must not be visible. If that matters for your transport, say so: for example neutral packaging, limited labelling or a particular handover time. We discuss what can be done organisationally; the design of the packaging is up to you.

From launch to tour

After the premiere, a launch set-up often continues as a roadshow, to dealers or to trade shows. If that is planned, give the next stops now. The material then stays in one continuous circuit, and returns to the store are avoided where they are unnecessary.

What matters

  • Label the product version of the shipment
  • Give the rehearsal date as well as the presentation
  • Record where the exhibits go next
