Plan your transport

Mark the work steps that depend directly on a specific delivery: building a counter needs different units than a lighting rehearsal or a soundcheck. Assign packages and responsible teams to these steps. If internal times are still open, state the assumption explicitly and update it once project management confirms the build plan.

Stage production: get-in and rehearsal schedule

Stage productions usually have a fixed get-in time from which the crew loads in, and a rehearsal schedule that requires certain departments to be ready. State both once they are fixed. Delivery can then be timed so that rigging material, stage technology and set arrive in the order they are needed.

When one trade depends on another

If the stand can only go up once the floor is laid, and AV can only be fitted after the walls, a chain is created. A delay at the start shifts everything. Mark such chains in your request so that we can prioritise the critical deliveries.

What matters

  • Assign material needs to each work step
  • Distinguish get-in, rehearsal and public opening
  • Mark open build assumptions visibly
