Plan your transport
Use an overview of collection, container number and expected quantity. If presentation samples change, the team should confirm the current selection before collection. Keep display items and material to be handed out apart, because they lead to different return quantities. With this separation, outbound and return trips can be described realistically in the first briefing.
One collection, several stops
Sample collections often move from the trade show to an in-house fair, dealer meetings or a showroom. If you know the stops, give them with dates and destination. It can then be checked whether the collection travels straight on or returns to the store in between to be topped up.
Confirming the return quantity after the event
After the show, some samples are often missing and others have been repacked. Appoint one person to count the return quantity before collection and pass on the updated list. The return then travels with correct data, and missing items are not discovered only at the store.
