Plan your transport
Draw up a short sequence of material group, requested time and responsible receiving team. Check whether early units can actually be accepted and stored at the destination and whether later groups are already packed. To do so, translate the build plan into transport groups. The number of requested stages and the number of collection points are two different pieces of information – both feed into the schedule and the quotation.
One trip or several?
A phased delivery can mean one vehicle being unloaded in several stages or several trips at different times. Which option fits depends on quantities, the gap between stages and the rules at the venue. Describe the need rather than the solution – we propose a suitable approach and show the options transparently in the quotation.
Where early deliveries wait
If material arrives before the actual build, it needs somewhere to go: at the stand, in a storage room at the venue or at the stand builder’s. Check whether that space is available and who has access. Without an agreed place, an early delivery can create more effort than it saves.
What matters
- Name material groups by build phase
- Clarify reception and space for early stages
- Count collection points separately from stages
