Plan your transport

Create a short record for each site: address, readiness, contact, loading times and packages. Clarify whether the goods are brought together internally beforehand or whether several collections are wanted. Both options start from different situations and should be described separately. We then show how the options differ in schedule and quotation.

Collection run or internal consolidation

On a collection run, the vehicle picks up at several places before driving to the venue. With internal consolidation, your team brings everything to one point from which a single transport starts. A collection run saves you work but needs matching readiness times at every location. Describe what is realistic for you.

Illustrative example: three sites, two options

Suppose walls come from the workshop, graphics from the printer and AV from your own store. Option A: a collection run with three stops the day before. Option B: the printer delivers to the store, collection at two places. Both options can be requested; the quotation should show stops, time windows and loading tasks for each option.

What matters

  • Assign each unit to a collection point
  • Confirm readiness and loading times per site
  • Distinguish collection run from internal consolidation
