Plan your transport

Include protective material, pallets, castors and containers. Mark values from old product documents as unchecked until the current shipment has been measured. If packaging changes the unit, update the list entry. With current dimensions and weights we plan load space, handling equipment and vehicle accordingly – and the quotation remains reliable.

Measuring correctly in three steps

Measure length, width and height at the widest point of the packed unit, including castors, handles and pallet. Weigh the unit or take the weight from the case label if it is current. Note whether the unit is stackable – only if that is confirmed.

Long and bulky items

Truss, wall bundles, stage risers or banner rolls can be long but light. Such items often determine the required load length more than the total weight. So list them individually with their length instead of letting them disappear in a total volume.

What matters

  • Include packaging, castors and pallet in external dimensions
  • Mark old product data as unchecked
  • List long items individually with their length
