Plan your transport
Draw up an overview of location, material group and confirmed or provisional readiness period, and name for each site the contact who reports changes. If one point shifts, it can be checked specifically which route is affected. The whole transport then does not need replanning just because one origin is ready later.
Options with different readiness
Depending on the gap between readiness dates, different solutions are possible: a joint collection at the latest date, a collection run with staggered stops or separate transports. Which fits depends on the delivery window at the venue and on quantities. We show you the options based on your overview.
Keeping an eye on the critical location
There is usually one origin whose readiness is least certain. Name it explicitly and agree a fixed check-in date there. Everyone involved then learns early whether the plan holds or an alternative is needed.
What matters
- Record readiness per origin
- Mark provisional times clearly
- Name the critical site with a check-in date
