Plan your transport
Replace earlier hall and stand details with the current allocation. Ask the new site contact about goods reception, times and access, and mark outdated documents. If packages are already labelled with the old destination, update the destination labelling. We then check whether vehicle, schedule or procedure change because of the new location.
What often changes with a new venue
Typically there are different delivery times, a different vehicle restriction, a different route to the handover point and a new receiving contact. Go through these points with the new venue and pass the answers on together. The earlier they are available, the easier the adjustment.
Effects on return and follow-on dates
A new venue can also change dismantling and the return, for example through different dismantling times. Also check whether onward transport to the next event now has a different route or duration. Tell us about such follow-on dates too.
