Plan your transport

Use specific location names and dimensions rather than estimates such as “easily accessible”. A photo or plan clarifies the route but does not replace a description. Clarify which tasks along this route your team takes on and which handover scope is requested. We can then plan the right approach – from the vehicle to the agreed handover point.

The narrowest point is what counts

For the internal route, what matters is not the widest door but the narrowest point: a lift with limited depth, a bend in the corridor, a stage door. Have this point measured, including height and load capacity of the lift. With these values it can be checked early whether large cases or assembled furniture will fit.

Theatres and loading docks

Theatres, concert halls and arenas often have their own loading access to the stage with fixed rules and times. Ask the technical manager or building services about access, dimensions and contact. This information makes the difference between a quick get-in and lengthy repacking.

What matters

  • Name entrance and handover point separately
  • Give the narrowest point with dimensions
  • Assign tasks along the route
