Plan your transport

List floor stands, truss brackets and connection material as separate items on the packing list. Orientation or handling notes should come from whoever is responsible for the equipment. State whether the recipient only accepts the packed units or whether your technical team will be on site. Transport and technical set-up are separate tasks – we take care of moving the cases to the agreed handover point.

AV equipment in the production schedule

For stage productions and larger stands, AV equipment is often needed at a fixed point in the build, for example after rigging and stage construction. State that time and the place where the cases are received – loading bay, backstage or stand. Delivery can then be planned into the production sequence instead of equipment arriving too early and getting in the way.

Return and next assignment

Rental equipment often goes back to the rental company after the event, own equipment to the store or straight to the next production. Assign a return destination to each case. If rental returns have a fixed time slot, state it so we can plan the return trip around it.

What matters

  • List cases and cartons instead of screen size
  • Assign brackets and cable boxes
  • Name the technical contact on site
