Plan your transport

As well as new packages, record changed dimensions or weights of known units; an unchanged project name does not mean the requirement is unchanged. Send a clear list of changes with a date and ask for the updated scope to be agreed. We then check whether vehicle, schedule or quotation change and confirm the new status.

The change list

A change list needs three blocks: added (ID, dimensions, weight), removed (ID) and changed (ID, old and new value). A date and a reference to the previous version make it unambiguous. That makes it quick to check whether the change affects the quotation.

When a change becomes relevant

Not every small change alters a quotation, but together they can. It typically becomes relevant when the required vehicle changes, additional collection points or stops arise, or dates shift. Report every change anyway – we will assess it.

What matters

  • Compare the new shipment with the quotation list
  • State changed dimensions of existing units
  • Have the updated scope explicitly confirmed
